Upon looking at this, the increasingly neglected commercial/consulting blog for the DJ Edna Project, you might think that perhaps the project has died. Far from it, actually.

In addition to coding major DJ Edna code “interventions” (a term I recently adopted instead of “refactorings” or “rewrites” after seeing an exhibit including Suburban Architecture Interventions at the Walker Art Museum), we’ve also been working with a few clients that wish to remain unnamed until their official launches.

A bigger update is that we’ve decided bite the bullet and write an honest-to-goodness Business Plan. It was fun free-wheeling with informal plans thus far, but circumstances have indicated that explicitly communicating our business goals to others might not be such a bad idea.

Look for announcements in this space regarding new clients and our formalized business plans soon. If you’re interested in the open-source DJ Edna Project, you can always find the latest info at the djedna.org blog and trac site.
